• Counterpane (http://www.counterpane.com) -- I first connected with this company when they proved a program to securely record your passwords. For now I subscribe to their Crypto-Gram (http://www.counterpane.com/crypto-gram.html), the ultimate source of what is secure (and what is not).
• ZoneAlarm (http://www.zonelabs.com/) -- Although we use the protection of our Linksys switch right now, this firewall did a great job of guarding our home computer (free for personal use).
• Newsletters/Bulletins -- here are a couple of newsletters I recommend you sign up for if you want to be aware of security risks before you are hit with them:
